🥾Spring Hiking & Wild Ponies: Grayson Highlands Weekend Recap

March in the mountains means mud, magic, and wild ponies. This weekend trip to Grayson Highlands gave me all three.

3 Day / 2 Night Backpacking Trip — My very first! This list is in no way meant to be an ideal–it was my starting point. And it was heavy! There were some things I loved and some things I didn’t love. For example – the poop shovel was pretty much worthless against the roots of the terrain and the handle design was painful. My tent was too heavy. The jetboil wasn’t very space efficient. My pad was comfy and my trekking poles were outstanding. And my Kula Cloth was the star of the show!
